The Kid In Me With Fantoria

woman making faces

Every once in a while I ditch the heels and go for a fun, comfortable look suitable for a playdate with bumper cars.  Growing up, I've always been the goofy one of the pack. Making silly faces, jokes, and impressions amongst my friends was daily occurrence, and today I still slip into my college humor when around friends.

My sweatshirt is from a company named Fantoria, featuring Donnie Doughnut, the company mascot. It's all about child development through play using books, toys, and film to feed imagination. It's tagline "Provoke The Child Within" draws me in as an adult to remember my dreams and aspirations as a child, and take a break from 'adult life' to have good innocent fun. It also challenges me to create ways to blend the two, and hence my photoshoot below.

I wanted lots of fun colors and patterns, I drew inspiration from the colors in the top, adding a stripped yellow top tied around my waist, some long pink socks, and chucks. I'm really happy with how it turned out and, more importantly, how happy it made me feel.
