Day 22 #100DaysOfStyle
There's something captivating about the free-flowing simplicity of Bohemian weddings. The flowers, the greenery, and loose airy fabrics. When I see these weddings, I think about love and happiness outside of traditional definitions of what it should look like. Maybe it translates differently for everyone, but there's one thing harder to debate--how perfect bohemian hairstyles look on natural hair.
Bohemian Wedding Inspired Hair Tutorial
In this video tutorial, I turn my 4 c transitioning hair into a simple, braided bohemian wedding inspired hairstyle. I hope you enjoy!
Products You'll Need
Comb: I used this one, but I'd much prefer you use a tail comb to crisp parting.
Soft Brush: To smooth down your edges with gel
Water Bottle with H2O: because we are working on dry hair, this gives a little hydration and dampens the hair to dry into the style we will create. This is key if you prefer not to use heat.
Bobby Pins: To pin down our braids.
Styling Cream: I like this one because it doesn't contain silicones. I prefer heavier creams for my hair types, but feel free to use one you love.
Coconut Oil: I love coconut oil. It leaves my hair soft and shiny.
Leave-in Conditioner: I added a little to my hair because it was dry. I like this one because it doesn't contain a ton of chemicals and silicone.
