The Perfect Black Dress
Every woman needs that perfect black dress that is just as versatile as she is. The dress that can carry her from the boardroom to a quaint dinner-party and margaritas with friends. I didn't have that dress until now, and let me tell you, I've already worn this black dress on three separate occasions in the last two months. It's so easy and versatile!
What Makes An All-Occasions Worthy Dress?
Neutrals are best. They go well with any color palette and have a greater ability to last for many seasons.
My advice it to keep it modest and simple. No extreme plunging necklines, high slits, extra short hems, or origami cut-outs. The simpler the dress, the more times you are able to wear it with without notice.
Not too tight or too lose. I personally like dresses with spandex because it shapes to my ever-changing curves. You should choose fabrics and a cut that makes you feel confident and beautiful every time you wear it.
A dress doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to be a great choice, it just has to feel good on the skin and have a good stitch. Examine your dress and make sure it isn't splitting at the seams, or developing holes and pills. Usually, the higher end designers offer better quality, but you can find decent alternatives by shopping smart. The dress pictured is a very affordable option from Hot Miami Styles. The truth is, you'll have to replace most clothing eventually, so decide what price point is right for you and your budget.

Day 30 #100DaysOfStyle
To make this dress versatile, you can switch up the accessories. Add a jacket, a shawl, or some interesting jewelry. I love that this dress keeps me covered up, but hugs my curves for a little sex appeal -which brings me to another point...to make this work at the office, wear a blazer and sturdier heel. I paired it with my Ralph Lauren Handbag and favorite Zara Heels to pull the look together.
