I think it's safe to say we all like a good deal. Black Friday and has a thin line between love and hate for me. I love the deals, but hate the traffic. If you're like myself and are not willing to stand outside in long lines to possibly get trampled for a TV, check out my list of places to shop for the holidays. It's faster, you'll skip the lines, and you still can get your beauty sleep.
If you love high-quality fashion and accessories like I do, then Black Friday is the perfect time to shop. This Black Friday Barney’s NY is offering 40% off select styles for women, men, kids and home—both in-store and online. They rarely have sales, so if there are any big names you’ve been dying to get your hands on, now is the time.
This site is basically the King of good deals. It's my favorite site because I can find any and everything I need for a fraction of the price. Books, electronics, clothing, makeup, home decor-you name it. The great thing about their site is, everything is categorized. They even have shopping lists divided by gift type. Last year on Cyber Monday they had scheduled flash sales and I was able to finish all of my holiday shopping in one day. I wouldn't be surprised if you scored that luck too.
I've used this site many times in my college days. They offer an amazing range of things from clothing to electronics. Most of their things are "overstock" items from brands that want to get rid of overflow. I especially love this site for winter coats. Right now they are offering up to 70% off on select items in each of their categories.
I'm a huge fan of Kate Spade handbags and accessories. The brand manages to make fun pieces that are suitable for all ages with great quality. Now until November 28th, there is a surprise sale up to 70% off. This site has something for just about every woman in your life.
Right now, if you visit the site and go to the sale section, they are offering up to 60% off on women and men apparel, shoes, and handbags. If you've ever been to a Saks, you know how beautiful and high quality everything is--and the price tag shows it. I typically wait until places like this have their sales to swoop up designer deals. The sale begins online 11/25-11/27 and in store 11/25 & 11/27.
Upon visiting the site, you are hit with about five different categories of sales starting at 20% off. This is a great time to go and get electronics and holiday decorations. They usually have great deals on everyday items as well, so check it out. If you decide to visit a store, be careful and don't bring the kids.
Typically you have to go to the store to get the best deals, but the long lines just might be worth it. They have revealed deals on computers, flat screen televisions, iPads, and smartphones. This is one establishment that will be open Thanksgiving day 11/26 at 5pm until 1am. The sale lasts through 11/28 and a lot of reduced pricing will still apply online. Just two words, be safe.
Those are my personal favorite shopping sites I go to every year. If you have another to share, please do. I could always use another good deal.
