Tights are a common addition to the Fall wardrobe. They keep our legs warm and allow a few extra weeks to wear shorts and skirts. I like to get a little eclectic with my style from time to time, so I styled two looks around fishnet stockings instead of the traditional opaque tight.
This look is fun, funky, and puts a spin on the schoolgirl uniform. I chose a blazer in a bold orange, denim skirt, tie, and boat shoes to complete this look. Adding a sock and tight combination also brings an unexpected flare ;-) If this hits too close to High school, ditch the denim tie and glasses to make it more age appropriate.
Okay, you need an outfit that's comfortable, stylish, and easy to wear at the office? I got you girl (or boy), no worries! You can never go wrong with a white button down shirt, shorts, tights, and flats. I'm featuring a (safe) black and white color palette, however, feel free to mix it up and color block a bit. Because my colors are neutral, I mixed textures. Chiffon white top with a pearl embellished collar, tweed shorts, and a patterned stocking. Of course, you can opt for longer shorts and opaque black tights instead.
What trends are you enjoying at the moment? I'd love to hear what you do to spice up your outfits.
